What Is Vaping?

What Is E-Liquid Made Of?

E-liquid (also known as vape juice) is made from a few simple ingredients:

  • Propylene Glycol (PG)

-        A clear, nearly odorless liquid that is commonly used in foods, medications, and cosmetics. Found in inhalers, helps to carry flavours and retain moisture in food.

 

  • Vegetable Glycerin (VG)

-        Also known as Glycerol, is a clear, thick, slightly sweet liquid typically made from vegetable oils such as soybean, palm, or coconut oil. This ingredient is also commonly found in food products, cosmetics, and pharmaceuticals.

 

  • Food-grade flavourings

 

  • Optional nicotine

-        Nicotine found in vaping products is an extracted, purified, and refined form of nicotine, designed to provide adult smokers with a familiar experience without the combustion, tar and many harmful byproducts associated with traditional cigarettes.

 

 

*Traditional cigarettes contain a complex mixture of more than 7000 chemicals. Health authorities have identified hundreds of these chemicals as harmful, including at least 70 known carcinogens (cancer-causing substances) many of the health risks associated with smoking come from the combustion of tobacco and the chemicals produced by burning it.

We strictly follow all provincial and federal age-verification requirements and do not sell vaping products to minors, nor are minors allowed into the store.

Can Vape Escapes Special Order Products?

In many cases, yes. Special-order availability depends on supplier inventory and manufacturer availability — However, our suppliers do require a minimum order amount when placing an order. Contact the store about minimum orders of specific items.

Why Isn’t My Device Firing?

There are several possible causes:

  • Ensure your device is charged.
  • Check that the pod or tank is properly installed.
  • Verify that the coil is making proper contact.
  • Make sure the device is unlocked (if applicable).
  • Inspect for any e-liquid buildup on the contacts.

If you’re still having trouble, bring your device into the store and our team will do their best to help diagnose the issue.

Why Does My Vape Taste Burnt?

A burnt taste is usually caused by:

  • A coil that needs replacing
  • Vaping at too high of a wattage
  • Insufficient e-liquid in the pod or tank

Not allowing a new coil to saturate before use

Why Is My Device Leaking?

Leaking can occur when:

  • A coil is loose or improperly installed
  • A pod or tank is damaged
  • The device is left in extreme temperatures
  • The tank is overfilled

How Often Should I Replace My Coil?

Coil lifespan varies depending on usage, e-liquid type, and power settings. Most users replace coils every 1-3 weeks.

Signs that a coil needs replacement include:

  • Burnt taste
  • Reduced flavour
  • Reduced vapour production

Gurgling or leaking

How Often Should I Replace My Pod?

Pods should be replaced when:

  • Flavour quality decreases
  • Vapour production drops
  • The pod becomes cracked or damaged

The coil inside the pod reaches the end of its lifespan

Do I Need To “Prime” My Coil?

Yes. Before using a new coil, fill your tank or pod and allow it to sit for 5-10 minutes so the cotton can fully absorb the e-liquid.

Can I Bring My Vape on an Airplane?

Most airlines require vaping devices and batteries to be carried in your carry-on luggage. Devices and spare batteries should never be packed in checked baggage.

Always check airline and destination regulations before travelling.

Can I Use My Vape While Travelling Internationally?

Vaping laws vary significantly between countries. Some countries restrict or prohibit vaping products entirely. It is your responsibility to verify local regulations before travelling.

Will Cabin Pressure Effect My Tank?

Yes. Changes in air pressure can sometimes cause tanks to leak. It is recommended to empty tanks before flying whenever possible.

Due to health and safety regulations, opened e-liquids, pods, coils, and disposable products are generally not eligible for return.

What If My Device Is Defective?

Do I Need My Reciept?

Yes. Proof of purchase is required for warranty claims, exchanges, and eligible returns.
